Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership to encourage businesses to do business with Europe



CUMBRIA Local Enterprise Partnership (CLEP) encourages businesses in Cumbria to join in European Business Month.

The “Trade Month” will cover November 2-22 and will focus on supporting businesses to trade with Europe.

European Business Month offers a virtual business tour to inspire and equip Cumbrian businesses to do business effectively in Europe.

The program includes market intelligence, industry information, local experts, as well as opportunities, trends and information on available government support.

Teams from over 30 countries have created this program of informative and interactive sessions to help businesses sell their goods or services across Europe.

Sarah Peak, CLEP Export Manager, on secondment from the Department of International Trade, said: “We want to support all of our businesses in Cumbria to be able to expand their business into new markets and this program provides specific support for trade with Europe. .

“European Business Month offers a series of exciting events to help companies learn more about selling in Europe and connect them with industry experts.

“This is a great opportunity to learn about new markets, trends and opportunities, find out what support is available and hear from European trade experts. ”
